* Student tickets for the men's basketball game against Utah on Saturday, Dec. 12, at Intrust Bank Arena, will be available for pickup today (Monday, Dec. 7) only at the ticket office at Charles Koch Arena during normal business hours. All students enrolled in classes and paying student fees are allowed one free student ticket and up to two guest tickets.

* How do you respond when you see an emergency happening right before your eyes? Social psychology research shows that whether one chooses to help or not depends on the number of witnesses present. Grace Kallimel from the Counseling & Testing Center will provide an overview of what the bystander effect is, pertinent findings and how to prevent it in the next Words for Wellness presentation from noon-12:30 p.m. today (Monday, Dec. 7) in 142 RSC.

* The WSU Community Education Office is hosting a big giveaway this month. Visit http://www.facebook.com/WSUwpce and like our page. * Sophomores and juniors in mathematics, the natural sciences or engineering are encouraged to apply for the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship. The Barry Goldwater Scholarship Program was created to encourage outstanding students to pursue research careers in mathematics, natural sciences or engineering and to foster excellence in those fields. Each scholarship covers eligible expenses for undergraduate tuition, fees, books, and room and board, up to a maximum of $7,500 annually. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?4470 for more information.

* GoCreate, a Koch Collaborative, is hosting an Instagram contest with zero barriers and zero restrictions on creativity. Build something cool with the GoCreate logo kit, and share a photo or video on Instagram using #GoCreateWSU. Logo kits are available in the lobby of the National Institute for Aviation Research. The contest closes Thursday, Dec. 31, and the winner will be announced Friday, Jan. 8. Entries will be judged on originality.

* Fall locker clear out of the Heskett Center is Thursday, Dec. 17. If you are clearing out, inform the Guest Services assistant. For renewal/signup for spring 2016, please go to Guest Services. Don't wait until finals, you might forget.

* Apply to become a resident advisor (RA) or peer academic leader (PAL). Applications are available now. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/RAPAL to apply. Applications are due Friday, Feb. 5.

* Ever wonder what it would be like to hit the books in the morning and hit the beach in the afternoon? Thanks to National Student Exchange (NSE), you can.
