* Business Procurement Card logs were available in campus mail on Friday, Dec. 11. Audited logs with attached receipts must be received by the Financial Operations Office by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16. There are no exceptions.

* The Office of Research will hold a workshop on "Developing Budgets: How to Avoid a Budget Battle Before a Grant Goes Out," at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, in 266 RSC. Topics covered will include allowable/unallowable costs, WSU rates, travel questions, cost match, flexibility and cost recovery. Register through myWSU using the myTraining channel. * Join the University Police Department in a retirement celebration for Edwin Catlin from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, in 226 RSC. Cake and light refreshments will be served.

* All gifts for calendar year 2015 must be at the WSU Foundation by noon Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016. You must include the envelope the checks were mailed in so that we have the postmarked date of Dec. 31, 2015, or prior.

* Fall locker clear out in the Heskett Center is Thursday, Dec. 17. If you are clearing out, inform the Guest Services assistant. For renewal/sign-up for spring 2016, please go to Guest Services.

* Last week you saw announcements regarding the Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) planning process and those appointed to serve on the SEM committees. * Join Community Service Board for their December Service in the City. Volunteers are needed on Thursday, Dec. 17, to distribute toys to parents and children collected from the area Angel Tree program. This year's distribution will be at the Advanced Products Building, 1101 E. Central. There are multiple shifts available, and snacks and lunch will be provided for volunteers. * The University of Kansas' NIH COBRE Center for Molecular Analysis of Disease Pathways (CMADP) has announced its upcoming Pilot Project Competition. This competition is open to all full-time, tenure-track or tenured faculty at WSU, KU, KSU or KUMC whose research embraces the molecular analysis of disease pathways in the broadest sense.
