Reminders, deadlines and events

* All gifts for calendar year 2015 must be at the WSU Foundation by 5 p.m. today (Wednesday, Jan. 6). You must include the envelope the checks were mailed in so that we have the postmarked date of Dec. 31, 2015, or prior.

* The men's basketball team will host Evansville at 7 p.m. today (Wednesday, Jan. 6) at Charles Koch Arena. For tickets, call 978-FANS (3267).

* Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes will be open through the end of the men's basketball game against Evansville this evening (Wednesday, Jan. 6). If you are attending the game, come early to snag the best parking spot and stop in to enjoy your favorite cold beverage and some great food.

* The university will offer an option to each University Support Staff (USS) employee to voluntarily reclassify his/her position to an Unclassified Professional (UP) position. This will allow the university to improve employee equity, simplify the employee structure and increase efficiency in employee processes. * The Kansas NASA EPSCoR Program (KNEP) is seeking pre-proposals for eventual submission to a NASA Cooperative Agreement Notice (CAN). The CAN opportunity includes up to $750,000 in funding for three years. All NASA EPSCoR monies must be cost-shared at a level of at least 50 percent with nonfederal monies. * Volunteers are needed Friday, Jan. 8-Monday, Jan. 18, to help make the International Student Union welcome table a success at Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 a.m. daily.
