A previous WSU Today item mentioned that the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship competition is available for sophomores and juniors to apply. However, this year's WSU competition for the four nominee slots has already concluded. Next year's competition will be held in the middle of the fall semester. Look for the announcement for next year's competition in the early fall.
