Blackboard courses scheduled for February-April
All of the following classes meet in the MRC Wireless Learning Space:
Introduction to Blackboard:
10-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, and 1:30-3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19
This course is an overview of what Blackboard is and its possible functions. The course is designed for instructors and faculty who are new to using the Blackboard system.
Blackboard Content Management:
9:30-11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, and 10-11:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 12
This workshop will cover the different types of content available in a Blackboard course, such as Assignments, Tests, Course Documents and announcements. It will also cover how to copy old course content into a new course, how to archive a course and how to merge courses.
Blackboard Test Manager:
10-11:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, and 10-11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 2
This course will cover how to add and modify tests, how to add the test to a content area and make it available and how it interacts with the Grade Center.
Blackboard Grade Center:
10-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, and 1:30-3 p.m. Thursday, April 9
This course is an in-depth training of the capabilities of the Grade Center. It will include how to enter and change grades, how to see the grade history, how to adjust the look of the columns and other things on the screen and how items are added to the Grade Center.
