WSU photography abroad: Paraguay
As photographers, their involvement in the first Biennial of Asuncion was to document the event by photographing venues, gallery spaces, artists and the city itself. The first Biennial of Asuncion was curated by WSU Director of the School of Art, Design and Creative Industries Royce Smith and Danys Monte de Oca y Osvaldo Gonzalez Real.
This international arts event featured artists from Paraguay, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Canada, Hungary, France, Germany, the United States and more. The vibrant city of Asuncion held so much for these students to see and experience.
This show will exhibit in the Cadman Art Gallery Tuesday, Jan. 19-Friday, Jan. 29. Cadman Art Gallery is on the RSC first floor. An opening reception for the exhibit will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at the Cadman Art Gallery.
