The Office of Research Compliance will hold an open lab from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, in 215 Devlin Hall Innovation Hub. Faculty, staff and students needing assistance in determining potential export or import controls affecting responsibilities and activities at WSU should plan to attend.

Additional topics of discussion include:

- Technology transfer -- Export control classification and determination
- Pre-Job posting consultations to determine export control restrictions
- Export review on grants, awards, proposals
- Export compliance reviews of contracts, NDA's, PIA's, etc.
- Foreign national/deemed export classification and determination
- Export license determinations
- Conflicts of interest
- International travel
- Shipments to other countries or foreign nationals from WSU (exports)
- Shipments to WSU from other countries or foreign nationals (imports)
- Visitors/tours/collaborations screening and export control determinations
- Export compliance training
