* The WSU School of Performing Arts production of "Smokey Joe's Cafe" has been selected to perform at the Regional Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in Minneapolis, Minnesota, this month. * The Ulrich Museum of Art celebrates the opening of the winter exhibition "Visual Justice: The Gordon Parks Photography Collection," from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16. * The Office of Human Resources (HR) has revised the Background and Reference Release form. This fillable PDF is a required part of the hiring process and the candidate information should be filled out by candidates when they arrive for face-to-face interviews. * The 2015 W-2 forms are available online for viewing and printing through the Kansas Department of Administration Employee Self-Service (ESS) portal. The instructions for acquiring your W-2 online can be found on this website -- http://www.wichita.edu/j/?4511. If you have consented to receive your W-2 electronically, you may access your W-2 by going to the State of Kansas Employee Self-Service Center at http://www.da.ks.gov/ps/subject/ssc/, clicking "Click here to Sign In" and logging in. If you have not consented to receive your W-2 electronically, but would like to, it is not too late. The W-2 ESS View and Print desk aid includes instructions on granting consent so that you may view and print your W-2 now. Otherwise, a paper form will be sent to your current mailing address in late January.

* Nominations are being accepted for the President's Award for Distinguished Service for Unclassified Professionals. The nomination form and instructions can be found under the featured links on the Unclassified Professional Senate website at http://www.wichita.edu/upsenate. Nominations are due by noon Friday, Jan. 29.
