Reminders, deadlines and events
* Join the College of Education for refreshments, games, prizes and fun from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Tuesday, Jan. 19) in the north lobby of Corbin Education Center.
* The last section of the Alumni Drive Pedestrian Plaza starts today (Tuesday, Jan. 19). Construction fencing will close Alumni Drive east from Perimeter Drive. The circle drive on the south side of Duerksen Fine Arts Center will also be closed. Construction is anticipated to be complete by Friday, March 18.
* Student Health is conducting flu clinics and offering flu shots this week from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 20-21, on the first floor, RSC. The cost is $25 for faculty and staff.
* The Office of Research will hold an open lab for Cayuse at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, Jan. 20) in 405 Jardine Hall. Faculty and staff interested in submitting research proposal applications to the federal government through Cayuse should plan to attend. This is a come-and-go lab. No registration is required. * Applications for the John A. See Innovation Award will be accepted now to Monday, Feb. 15. The award was established to support prototype development, which may include development of products in engineering and science, development of life-enhancing therapeutic products, creation of application of new knowledge and artistic ventures. * Important 2015 health insurance tax forms are available. The 2015 IRS 1095-C tax forms are available online at https://sehp.member.hrissuite.com/ (MAP). Forms will also be mailed to your preferred MAP address. Login credentials match the Open Enrollment login ID and password. Go to the forms tab within your account overview screen, under "Tax Forms." For questions, email the State Department of Health at SEHPMembership@kdheks.gov.
* The university operator position has transitioned from Telecommunications to the OneStop office, effective Jan. 4. The new operator is Cindy Horton, a full-time WSU staff member. She comes to WSU with almost 10 years of operator experience, and we are excited to have her as part of our WSU family.
