* Seven WSU School of Art, Design and Creative Industries students traveled to Asuncion, Paraguay, to participate in the first Biennial of Asuncion. This show will exhibit in Cadman Art Gallery now to Friday, Jan. 29. Cadman Art Gallery is on the RSC first floor.
* Celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Harlem Globetrotters at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at Intrust Bank Arena. Discounted tickets can be purchased in 216 RSC, Student Involvement Office, for $10 for students and $15 for faculty. Tickets are limited; first-come, first-served. * Student Involvement, in collaboration with the President's Office, has scheduled spring 2016 discussion forums for Recognized Student Organization (RSO) leaders to engage with President Bardo regarding current events and campus updates. These meetings seek to give our students direct contact with President Bardo for an opportunity to ask questions, queries or address any concerns. * It is estimated that at any time, about 20 percent of the population suffers from a mental health condition. However, less than half are being treated by a professional. The Counseling and Testing Center is offering free Mental Health First Aid courses to help individuals better identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health issues in others. Admission is free and a light breakfast and afternoon snacks will be provided.
* Alpha Kappa Psi will have its 2nd annual Chili Feed from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, in the Clinton Hall lobby. It is free, but donations are accepted.
