Jamaican-born, Brooklyn-based documentary photographer Ruddy Roye will discuss his work documenting the invisible stories of social injustice from the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina to protesters of police brutality on the streets of New York, Ferguson, and most recently, Nepal. The artist talk, "Radcliffe 'Ruddy' Roye Defining the Distance Between the Capital and Its Citizens," will be held at 6:30 p.m. today (Thursday, Jan. 28) in the CAC Theater. Admission is free. A reception will precede the talk at 5:30 p.m., at the Ulrich Museum of Art.
