Kansas population forecast to be released by WSU research center

Wichita State University's Center for Economic Development and Business Research (CEDBR) is planning to release an updated Kansas population forecast. Data from the forecast will be made available in a press release at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, and online at http://www.population.cedbr.org.

The forecast includes the projected Kansas population to 2064 and consists of data for all Kansas counties, separated by age cohorts and gender.

The updated population forecast was conducted by a graduate student within WSU's W. Frank Barton School of Business as part of an independent study opportunity supervised by researchers in the center.
