* The next Department of Biology seminar will feature a presentation by Julian Guttman of Simon Fraser University from 4-5 p.m. today (Monday, Feb. 15) in 218 Hubbard Hall. Guttman's topic is "Strategies bacterial pathogens use to control cytoskeletal and endocytic components of their hosts."

* The Offices of Diversity and Inclusion, Human Resources and Counseling and Testing invite you to Safe Zone training from 2:30-5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, in 266 RSC. The goal of Safe Zone training is to educate, as well as create and sustain a welcoming and inclusive environment for the LGBTQ campus community. * Join the Community Service Board as they promote health in Wichita through their new series event, Senior Saturdays, at the Regent Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare. This series event takes place on multiple Saturdays from 9-11 a.m. Volunteers will play games and share conversations with senior citizens in our community. * "Writing Proposals: Clear, Concise, Consistent (and Successful!)" workshop will be offered at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, in 266 RSC. Funders and their reviewers want proposals that are clear, concise and consistent. Attend this workshop to learn tips, resources and hands-on approaches for improving grant-writing skills.
