* The Office of Diversity and Inclusion is hosting a day lecture with Tim Wise for WSU faculty and staff from 1-2:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, in 266 RSC. * Bob Workman, director of the Ulrich Museum of Art, will begin the community symposium at 3 p.m. today (Friday, Feb. 12) in 210 McKnight Art Center. He will showcase three Wichita museum partnerships with exhibitions devoted to Gordon Parks, a Kansas native who is one of the most celebrated African American artists of his time.
* The women's basketball team will host Bradley at 7 p.m. today (Friday, Feb. 12) in Charles Koch Arena. The women also will host Loyola at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14. The men will host Northern Iowa at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13. Call 978-FANS (3267) for tickets.
* If you need help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the Office of Financial Aid is here to help. Every Tuesday night in February, financial aid staff will offer free one-on-one FAFSA completion assistance from 3-7 p.m. in 203 Jardine Hall. Students and parents can register in advance to schedule a preferred appointment time at http://www.wichita.edu/fafsanight. WSU's priority date for the 2016-17 FAFSA is Tuesday, March 1. * "Writing Proposals: Clear, Concise, Consistent (and Successful!)" workshop will be offered at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, in 266 RSC. Funders and their reviewers want proposals that are clear, concise and consistent. Attend this workshop to learn tips, resources and hands-on approaches for improving grant-writing skills.
