* The February meeting of the Unclassified Professional (UP) Senate is 9-11 a.m. today (Tuesday, Feb. 16) in 142 RSC. The agenda is on the UP Senate website at http://www.wichita.edu/upsenate

* Join the Office of International Education and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion for our Religious Brown Bag Series. Hinduism will be discussed from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, Feb. 16) in 265 RSC. Learn about one of the world's oldest religions. Brown Bags allow the WSU community an opportunity to learn and dialogue about specific issues regarding multiculturalism and diversity.

* The Offices of Diversity and Inclusion, Human Resources and Counseling and Testing invite you to Safe Zone training from 2:30-5 p.m. today (Tuesday, Feb. 16) in 266 RSC. The goal is to educate, as well as create and sustain a welcoming and inclusive environment for the LGBTQ campus community. Sign up for Safe Zone training at http://www.wichita.edu/safezone

* The Counseling and Testing Center is offering free Mental Health First Aid courses to help individuals better identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health issues in others. To register for the next upcoming course on Friday, Feb. 19, go to myWSU and myTraining. More spring 2016 dates for this workshop are also available. * WSU's goal is to welcome and support research and collaboration opportunities in the most welcoming manner possible, while also assuring compliance with U.S. laws and regulations governing technical data, exports and imports. All faculty, staff and researchers are required to be familiar with these regulations. Visit the compliance specialists between 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, in the Innovation Hub, 215 Devlin Hall, to see how these regulations and laws pertain to you.

* "Writing Proposals: Clear, Concise, Consistent (and Successful!)" workshop will be offered at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, in 266 RSC. Funders and their reviewers want proposals that are clear, concise and consistent. Attend this workshop to learn tips, resources and hands-on approaches for improving grant-writing skills. * The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is coordinating a new program for fall 2016 admitted students. From 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, March 12, WSU staff will be available to help admitted students apply for housing, sign up for orientation, discuss academic advising and enrollment, as well as answer questions about financial aid.
