* The Faculty Senate meeting for today (Monday, Feb. 22) has been canceled.

* The Department of Biology seminar will feature a presentation by Keith Geluso of the University of Nebraska from 4-5 p.m. today (Monday, Feb. 22) in 218 Hubbard Hall. Geluso's topic is "Role and importance of natural history studies for college students."

* The Tilford Commission on Diversity welcomes proposals from instructors interested in developing a new diversity-related course or in modifying an existing course to enhance its diversity content. Proposals are due Monday, March 21, to the Tilford Coordinator, Office of Academic Affairs, Box 13, and should be accompanied by a completed application cover sheet, available at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?4602. * The WSU Leadership Academy is sponsoring a workshop,"Take Care of Yourself," from 1-5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 29, at WSU Old Town. * Supervising employees is incredibly challenging. The Center for Management Development has a 10-week program focusing specifically on developing the skills you need to supervise successfully.
