* The Spring 2016 Chemistry Department Colloquium scheduled for today (Wednesdasy, Feb. 24) has been canceled.

* Join the University Bookstore for a Lunch & Learn for faculty. There will be two sessions from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, or Wednesday, March 2, in 266 RSC. * The COBRE Center in Protein Structure and Function announces its 2016 competition for new pilot projects. As described in the Request for Applications, we anticipate being able to support up to five new pilot projects in the range of about $50,000 direct costs per year starting July 1.
