* Academic Affairs will hold an official Hospitality Training Session for candidate searches from 10-11 a.m. today (Thursday, Feb. 25) in Shocker Hall Multipurpose room A1320.

* Join the Community Service Board in its interactive tabletop service event, Bookmarks with Dr. Seuss, and make bookmarks for students in local schools to celebrate Dr. Seuss Day. Stop by anytime from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Thursday, Feb. 25) on the first floor, RSC.

* The Office of International Education is providing an informational meeting about WSU study abroad programs for faculty and staff at 3 p.m. today (Thursday, Feb. 25) in 319 RSC. All staff and faculty are encouraged to attend, especially those who advise students on academic programs or organize their own faculty-led study abroad programs.

* Michelle Battiste will give a poetry reading in the Writing Now, Reading Now Series, at 5:30 p.m. today (Thursday, Feb. 25) at the Ulrich Museum of Art. Battiste, a Wichita State MFA program alumna, has published work in "American Poetry Review" and "Beloit Poetry Review," among others.

* Join the University Bookstore for a Lunch & Learn for faculty. There will be two sessions from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, or Wednesday, March 2, in 266 RSC. * The WSU Leadership Academy is sponsoring a workshop,"Take Care of Yourself," from 1-5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 29, at WSU Old Town. * "Developing Engaged Students -- Tips and Tricks from Student Involvement" is the title of a Faculty Development Workshop from 2-3 p.m. Thursday, March 3, in 262 RSC.
