* Today's (Monday, Feb. 29) Department of Biology seminar will feature a presentation by Chad King from the University of Central Oklahoma, from 4-5 p.m., in 218 Hubbard Hall. King's topic is "Past and present disturbance dynamics."
* The School of Community Affairs Criminal Justice Department invites you to meet Wichita's new Chief of Police Gordon Ramsay, from 3-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, in 316 Lindquist Hall. Light appetizers will be served at this come-and-go reception.

* Financial Operations and Business Technology will offer two in-person training sessions on Tuesday, March 1, on compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), required for everyone involved in any part of processing payment-card transactions at WSU. One session will be at 10:30 a.m., and the other at 2:30 p.m. Attendance at one of these sessions fulfills an employee's annual credit card training requirement for 2016. * The Tilford Commission on Diversity welcomes proposals from instructors interested in developing a new diversity-related course or in modifying an existing course to enhance its diversity content. Proposals are due Monday, March 21, to the Tilford Coordinator, Office of Academic Affairs, Box 13, and should be accompanied by a completed application cover sheet, available at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?4602.
