The next Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) meeting takes place at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 3, in 262 RSC, featuring guest speaker Steve Peeples. Peeples owns a local prosthetic company in Wichita and offers insight into the professional BME community in the surrounding area. Students interested in orthotics, prosthetic development or related fields are encouraged to attend. Plus, there will be free pizza.

In addition, elections are open for the 2016-17 school year. Current positions include president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, outreach chair and mentorship chair.
Applications should include name, year, position applying for and a brief summary of why you think you should be elected for the position.

The applications can be in a Word document and sent to our adviser Gary Brooking at gary.brooking@wichita.edu. Applications close Monday, March 21.
