As the storm season approaches, we turn our thoughts to updating training and/or updating our list of those serving as Emergency Building Coordinators. We ask that all department heads and Emergency Building Coordinators (EBCs) go to the EBC website at http://webs.wichita.edu/?u=ebc&p=/ebc_list/ to review the list of coordinators. Any EBCs who have not received training or haven't had a refresher class within the last two years should sign up for the class, offered by Cody Charvat from the Sedgwick County Emergency Management Office. Go to myTraining, and under Browse myTraining, click on the first or second option to locate the EBC training on Wednesday, March 9, and click on Request to register for the session you are able to attend. Please communicate any changes to the list of EBCs to shelly.kellogg@wichita.edu.
