* The WSU School of Music is proud to host its annual Madrigal Invitational at 7:30 p.m. today (Thursday, March 3). The evening will feature high school madrigal groups from across the state of Kansas performing individually, and will include songs by the WSU Madrigal Singers. Admission is free.

* Accessibility is a major concern for those developing and teaching online courses. Disability is not a personal deficit; rather, disability is the result of an inaccessible environment. Please read the latest article from the WSU Instructional Design blog and help us to create a welcoming online environment for our students by leveling the playing field. Go to http://blogs.wichita.edu/idtgroup/?p=1475 to read "A Brief Accessibility Memo."

* Strategic Communications is collecting information on summer camps at Wichita State. To be included in the summer camp listing on our website, fill out the form at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?2807. If you have questions, contact Christine Gulledge at acgulledge@wichita.edu.

* All department heads and Emergency Building Coordinators (EBCs) are asked to go to the EBC website at http://webs.wichita.edu/?u=ebc&p=/ebc_list/ to review the list of coordinators. If you have not received training or had a refresher class within the last two years, sign up for the class. Go to myTraining, and under Browse myTraining, click on the first or second option to locate the EBC training on Wednesday, March 9, and click on Request for the session you are able to attend. Communicate any changes to the list of EBCs to shelly.kellogg@wichita.edu.

* A doctoral student of audiology is seeking participants for her research project, which will test the reflexes in the ear. Participants will receive a free hearing evaluation prior to testing. Participants must be between the ages of 18 and 35, cannot have had an ear infection in the past three months, nor had a cold or flu in the past two weeks. If you're interested in volunteering, contact Rebecca Burdine at raburdine@Wichita.edu or 316-210-2489. The testing will only take about an hour.
