WSU hosts first Financial Aid Awareness Week

10-11 a.m. today (Tuesday, Feb. 10), 215/217 Rhatigan Student Center
Open to all students, staff and faculty. Cynthia Ongeche from the Consumer Credit Counseling Service Inc. will be on campus to offer information about general money management including information about budgeting, credit use and credit scores.

Financial Aid Information Fair
11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 203 Rhatigan Student Center
Open to all students and the general public. The Office of Financial Aid will be hosting several agencies and booths that offer tuition and financial aid assistance for higher education including the Kansas Board of Regents, Vocational Rehabilitation, Veterans Affairs and much more. There will also be assistance available if you need help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or if you have questions regarding admission to Wichita State University. All students or prospective students who attend the fair can enter into a drawing for a $500 scholarship for the Fall 2009 semester at WSU.
