Panel: International Women's Day

This year's main event for Women's History Month features a panel presentation of women in the field of engineering, at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, in 100 Lindquist Hall. The Women's Studies Department and Office of Diversity and Inclusion is hosting the event. The topic is "Women in Science, Math, Technology and the Arts: Celebrating the past and seizing the future."

Engineering is a key area of expertise at WSU, but women are underrepresented. How do they see themselves and their place within the profession? Join us to hear about the contributions and achievements of women in the field in the past, learn about the present status of women and the existing gender disparities, and the challenges and aspirations of women engineers and WSU engineering students for the future.
