Reminders

* Blackboard will be unavailable from 4-6 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, for scheduled maintenance to improve the stability of the system and specifically address the errors related to accessing the Manage Course Menu option for instructors.

* A Financial Aid Information Fair will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 11) in 203 Rhatigan Student Center. The Office of Financial Aid will be hosting several agencies and booths that offer tuition and financial aid assistance for higher education.

* Professor Elizabeth Behrman will present "Quantum Algorithm Design Using Dynamic Learning" in the department of physics spring seminar and colloquium series at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 11) in 128 Jabara Hall. http://webs.wichita.edu/physics/events.html

* Associate professor Deborah Gordon and WSU graduate Kristen Waymire will present "To Gaza From Ramallah: The Palestinian Street, January 2009" at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 11) in 117 Neff Hall as part of the anthropology department's spring 2009 colloquium series.

* The Student Activities Council is looking for talent to perform during the Hippodrome skits April 15, 16 and 18. In addition, faculty and staff are needed to judge Hippodrome performances.
