Reminders, deadlines, events and Shocker Blast

* Duplication Station in Morrison Hall will close at 3:30 p.m. today (Friday, March 11) for staff training. Please plan accordingly.

* WSU's School of Performing Arts presents a Second Stage production of "Core of Temptation," a play written by Danielle Hartman, a student from Virginia Commonwealth University. The play will be performed at 7:30 p.m. today (Friday, March 11) and Saturday, March 12, and 2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, March 12-13, at Welsbacher Theater in the Hughes Metropolitan Complex. * Proposals are due to the Office of Research for University Research/Creative Projects (URCA) no later than 5 p.m. Friday, April 1. URCAs are used to retool or re-establish productive research/creative projects agenda. In areas where external funding is available, the URCA may be used as seed money to develop pilot data. * The opportunity for USS (University Support Staff) to switch to UP (Unclassified Professional) positions effective June 5, provides a one-time opportunity to make a one-time irrevocable decision to change retirement plans from KPERS to a KBOR (Kansas Board of Regents) plan. * Join the University Bookstore for a Lunch & Learn for faculty on campus. There will be two sessions to meet your needs from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, or Wednesday, March 23, in 265 RSC.
