* Join the Community Service Board as they help Wichita youth in their education by volunteering through their new series event, Tutoring Tuesdays, at the Urban League of Kansas. This series event takes place on multiple Tuesdays from 5-7 p.m. No tutoring experience is required. The third Tutoring Tuesday will take place tomorrow (Tuesday, March 8). * The Office of Diversity and Inclusion is seeking outstanding individuals to serve as Peer Mentors for the Multicultural Student Mentoring Program. These students play a major role in the transition of new underrepresented students. Peer Mentors must be at least a sophomore with a 2.75 GPA. To apply to be a Peer Mentor for fall 2016, go to http://www.wichita.edu/mentor.app. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, March 23.

* Applications to be a Student Conduct Hearing Board member are due by Friday, March 11. * Student Government Association and the Campus Issues Committee invites international students to fill out a survey at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?4639 to discuss any issues or concerns you have in relation to your academic and student life on campus. This survey will help by addressing issues that students face on campus, and to find a way to address these concerns. Direct any questions to sga.campusissues@wichita.edu.

* University Libraries is hosting a workshop for students, "Researching the Digital World: Strategies for Quality Online Research," from 4-5 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, in 217 Ablah Library. * The Office of Adult Learning is excited about a recent change to the Osher Scholarship eligibility requirements. This scholarship opportunity is now available for all current students. * The Wichita State Black Student Union will host the "My Black is Beautiful" fashion show," at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 10, in the RSC Beggs Ballroom. Advance tickets are $5, and $10 at the door. Tickets are available for purchase in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, 208 RSC, until Wednesday, March 9. A portion of the proceeds raised will go toward aiding the water crisis in Flint, Michigan.
