* Wage & Hour Training is scheduled to be taught by Lana Anthis and Nancy Thompson from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Friday, March 18, in 266 RSC. This training is valuable for all timekeepers, administrative specialists and supervisors. Go to myTraining to enroll.
* Leading Adaptively in the University -- a three-day leadership development program for faculty and staff who are interested in making progress on difficult issues they are facing -- will be held Wednesday-Friday, April 20-22. This program operates on the premise that leadership is an activity, not a role or position, and that anyone can lead anytime, anywhere. Staff will need approval from their supervisor as stated in the application. The program is limited to 25 participants and there is no cost to attend. * All associate professors are invited to attend a panel discussion titled "Success Beyond Tenure," with presenters Carolyn Shaw, Gaylen Chandler and Robert Weems. * Join the University Bookstore for a Lunch & Learn for faculty on campus. There will be two sessions to meet your needs from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, or Wednesday, March 23, in 265 RSC. * Join SAC from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, March 26, for the Shocker Paint Party. Learn how to paint a WSU-themed painting at Paint the Towne (8037 E. Peachtree Lane). The cost is $5 for students, faculty and staff with a WSU ID or $10 for the general public.
