'Yes You Can' by Jim Stovall

New York Times best-selling author Jim Stovall is being hosted by the College of Health Professions at a spring semester event to speak to all university faculty, staff and students from 11 a.m.-noon Friday, April 1, 132 Hughes Metropolitan Complex. Stovall is the author of "The Ultimate Gift," "The Ultimate Life," "The Ultimate Legacy" and "One Season of Hope," which are also major motion pictures produced by 20th Century Fox. A book signing will follow.

Undeterred by his blindness, Stovall is an author of more than 30 well-known books, and President of the Emmy Award Winning Narrative Television Network.

He has been selected by the President's Committee on Equal Opportunity as Entrepreneur of the Year, and has been chosen as the International Humanitarian of the Year joining Jimmy Carter, Nancy Reagan and Mother Teresa as recipients of this honor.

Stovall has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes Magazine, USA Today, "Good Morning America," CNN and "CBS Evening News," among others.
