* Proposals are due to the Office of Research for University Research/Creative Projects (URCA) no later than 5 p.m. Friday, April 1. URCAs are used to retool or re-establish productive research/creative projects agenda. In areas where external funding is available, the URCA may be used as seed money to develop pilot data. * The opportunity for USS (University Support Staff) to switch to UP (Unclassified Professional) positions effective June 5, provides a one-time opportunity to make a one-time irrevocable decision to change retirement plans from KPERS to a KBOR (Kansas Board of Regents) plan. * Leading Adaptively in the University -- a three-day leadership development program for faculty and staff who are interested in making progress on difficult issues they are facing -- will be held Wednesday-Friday, April 20-22. Staff will need approval from their supervisor as stated in the application. The program is limited to 25 participants and there is no cost to attend. * Submit a flyer and logo with a tag line for WSU's Title IX Campaign by Friday, April 15. The winning campaign will be the new face of Title IX across campus in print and online materials. Prizes will be given to the top three submissions. Email your submissions to TitleIX@wichita.edu.

* Human Resources, in conjunction with The Kansas Department of Labor's Division of Industrial Safety and Health, will offer office ergonomic assessments on Wednesday, March 23. Each assessment takes 15-20 minutes. We invite employees interested in the evaluation to sign up by sending their name, title and department/office location to Sarah Hunter at sarah.hunter@wichita.edu.
