* Microsoft Immersion Day for WSU faculty will be held Tuesday, March 29, in 245 RSC. Availability is limited and requires a two-hour commitment. * The Regional Institute on Aging is announcing the availability of two graduate research assistantships (GRAs). The goal of the Graduate Research Assistantship Program is to provide support to faculty investigators and enhance their efforts to develop and expand programs of research in aging, and in aging-related questions at WSU. * Show your Shocker pride. Please respond to the Shocker Pride Celebration invitation you received in campus mail and confirm attendance to campus box 62 by Wednesday, March 30. The President's Distinguished Service Awards and the unclassified professionals' Wayne Carlisle Distinguished Service Award will be presented during the Shocker Pride Celebration on Wednesday, April 6, in the RSC Beggs Ballroom. The reception to meet and greet the honorees is at 3 p.m., followed by the awards presentation at 3:30 p.m.
* All untenured faculty are invited to an open forum with Tony Vizzini, provost and senior vice president, at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, in 261 RSC, to discuss tenure expectations and the role of junior faculty in the changing university.
* Wichita State Track and Field has teamed up with Shocker Track Club (STC) to assist in facilitating one of the state's largest track meets. Volunteers are needed for the KT Woodman Track Meet, Wednesday through Saturday, April 13-16. We are looking for people to work a block of time, a few hours or a particular event.
