* "Contracts and Agreements: Getting to a 'Win-Win' Agreement," will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, in 405 Jardine Hall. This workshop will help researchers identify when a contract or agreement might be required, how to obtain one, and know more about terms and conditions that the university may or may not be able to accept. * Leading Adaptively in the University -- a three-day leadership development program for faculty and staff who are interested in making progress on difficult issues they are facing -- will be held Wednesday-Friday, April 20-22. Staff will need approval from their supervisor as stated in the application. The program is limited to 25 participants and there is no cost to attend. * Proposals are due to the Office of Research for University Research/Creative Projects (URCA) no later than 5 p.m. Friday, April 1. URCAs are used to retool or re-establish productive research/creative projects agenda. In areas where external funding is available, the URCA may be used as seed money to develop pilot data.
