* The WSU softball team will host Northern Iowa at noon and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 19, and noon Sunday, March 20, at Wilkins Stadium. For tickets, call 978-FANS (3267).
* WSU employees and dependents who are looking to start or continue working toward a bachelor's degree are encouraged to apply for help from the Shocker Employee & Dependent Scholarship. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/uss and see the Scholarship link for details.

* New York Times best-selling author Jim Stovall is being hosted by the College of Health Professions at a spring semester event to speak to all university faculty, staff and students from 11 a.m.-noon Friday, April 1, 132 Hughes Metropolitan Complex.
* If you know a high school junior, connect them with Junior Day. Attending students will enjoy a day in the life of a Shocker, embark on a campus tour and get an inside look at both Shocker Hall and the Rhatigan Student Center. Junior Days will be held on Monday, April 4, and Friday, April 8. Admission is $15 for students and covers program materials, lunch and a Shocker T-shirt. Guests are $5.
