* The next Physics Seminar will feature a presentation by Ed Hartouni from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in Livermore, California, at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 23) in 128 Jabara Hall. Hartouni will present, "The Prospects for Plasma-Nuclear Science at the National Ignition Facility."

* The next Chemistry Department Colloquium talk will feature Laleh Tahsini from Oklahoma State University, at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 23) in 224 McKinley Hall. Tahsini will present, "Pincer type N-heterocyclic carbene complexes of late transition metals: synthesis and reactivity."

* All teaching faculty and graduate assistants are encouraged to attend a Teaching Clinic at 10:30 a.m. today (Wednesday, March 23) in 207 RSC. This one-hour workshop is devoted to the required syllabus change and any other questions related to teaching. Blackboard questions are welcome. Bring your syllabi.

* Microsoft Immersion Day for WSU faculty will be held Tuesday, March 29, in 245 RSC. Availability is limited and requires a two-hour commitment.
