Volunteers needed for KT Woodman Track Meet in April

Wichita State Track and Field has teamed up with Shocker Track Club to help facilitate one of the state's largest track meets, and you could be part of it all. If you are majoring in education, sports or plan on working with children or athletes when you graduate, you want this on your resume. Volunteers are needed for the KT Woodman Track Meet, Wednesday-Saturday, April 13-16. We are looking for people to work a block of time, a few hours or a particular event.

Volunteers will receive a T-shirt, food and gain firsthand experience in running a track meet. This is a great networking environment, especially if you are considering coaching, training or officiating.

We are also need motivated students to join the CREW, a student volunteer-based group specifically used to assist with WSU/STC track meets. This is a great resume builder as you hold an active position on a committee, have your voice heard and are able to have hands-on experience in track meet management, volunteers, officials, hospitality, event teams and so much more.

If you are interested in any of the above, contact Laura Markuly at futurist@shockertrackclub.com by Friday, April 8.
