With SGA election campaigning in full swing, faculty, staff and students are reminded of the following: 1) no university funds may be used for campaign expenses whether GU, RU, student fees or money held by the WSU Foundation, and 2) faculty and staff should refrain from endorsing any candidate or political party.

Recognized Student Organizations may issue an official endorsement of a candidate or party or contribute financially to a campaign provided: 1) the endorsement is approved by its membership in accord with its constitution and bylaws, and 2) the financial contribution is approved by its membership in accord with its constitution and bylaws and complies with SGA regulations governing campaign finance.
