* The next Physics Seminar will feature a presentation by Nasser Barghouty, NASA-Marshall Space Flight Center, at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 30) in 128 Jabara Hall. Barghouty will present, "Towards Radiation-Smart Structures and Designs."

* The next Chemistry Department Colloquium talk will feature Greg Crowther from the University of Washington, at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 30) in 224 McKinley Hall. Crowther will present, "Target-based drug development for neglected infectious diseases: highly rational, or highly delusional?"

* The baseball team will host Stephen F. Austin University at 8 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 30) at Eck Stadium. Call 978-FANS (3267) for tickets.

* All WSU faculty and staff receive free admission on Faculty/Staff Night for the Shocker softball game against Tulsa at 6 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 30) at Wilkins Stadium.

* New York Times best-selling author Jim Stovall is being hosted by the College of Health Professions at a spring semester event to speak to all university faculty, staff and students from 11 a.m.-noon Friday, April 1, in 132 Hughes Metropolitan Complex. * The Fiscal Year 2017 budget process begins at the departmental level with the entering of budget information into WSU's budget system (TM1) software. It is important that budget officers and budget review officers for state orgs (nonresearch orgs) attend one of the FY17 training sessions or the open lab session for individual help.
