* The WSU Shuttle System Campus Route has started evening service to the Walmart store at 29th Street and Rock Road. The service will begin at 5 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. Mondays through Fridays when classes are in session. One of the two buses on the Campus Route -- which has stops near Shocker Hall (Wiedemann stop) and at Fairmount Towers -- will be marked with a Walmart sign. After departing Fairmount, the bus will proceed to Walmart before resuming its normal route. Go to http://wichita.edu/shuttle for more information about the WSU Shuttle System.
* Plans are underway for the RSC to feature a number of current students and recent alumni who are making an impact and have an interesting story to tell. Do you know a current student who can claim they were the first to do something related to WSU -- the first to attend college in their family, the first to achieve an award or conquer an obstacle, the first from their country to come to WSU? If you know someone who fits this profile, contact angela.schultz@wichita.edu.
* Student Involvement has created a new leadership award specifically for graduate students that will be awarded at the Shocker Leadership Awards on Thursday, May 5. The award goes to a graduate student who has made a significant impact on the WSU campus community through his or her academic achievements and his or her involvement on campus outside of the classroom.
