This semester we are experimenting with a format for sharing research ideas. The idea is for faculty to present their work at a high level and to solicit new collaborations. We are calling it Fours Fridays in April: A Research Slam. All sessions are from 3-4 p.m. in 113 Wallace Hall. Take a look at the schedule above for our first attempt. We have arranged for eight speakers, focusing mostly on new faculty in engineering with some additions from biology. If this is a success, we will make it a biannual (one per semester) event open to all researchers at the university. You are invited to come, take a look, listen to what your colleagues are doing and get more involved with research collaborations on campus. We need your participation to make it a success.
