* Join the Counseling and Testing Center for Keep Calm and Breathe On. Drop in to build structured relaxation time into your life and learn techniques to do relaxation on your own. You will be led in meditation, mindfulness and relaxation practices. The meetings are from 12:15-12:45 p.m. every Wednesday until the end of the semester in 257 RSC.

* The next Physics Seminar will feature a presentation by Robert C. Hilborn, associate executive officer, AAPT, College Park, Maryland, at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 6) in 128 Jabara Hall. Hilborn will present "Trends in Physics Education."

* The next Chemistry Department Colloquium talk will feature Rita Miller from Oklahoma State University, at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 6) in 224 McKinley Hall. Miller will present, "The small ubiquitin-like moiety SUMO interacts covalently and non-covalently with Stu2p, a microtubule associated protein."

* The Criminal Justice Student Association of WSU presents an opportunity to meet, ask questions and seek information about employment with more than 25 participating federal, state and local criminal justice agencies, as well as volunteer, educational and military organizations. The 2016 Criminal Justice Career Fair will be held from 1:30-4 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 6) on the second floor of the RSC.

* The Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Student Success, TRIO Programs and the Tilford Commission are creating a database of first-generation faculty and staff members at WSU. If you identify as someone who was a first-generation college student, visit http://www.wichita.edu/first to submit your information. * The Council of University Women will host its Scholarship Bash, "Oh the Places You Will Go With a CUW Scholarship," Wednesday, April 13, to raise money for scholarships to benefit students at Wichita State.
