Female graduates and alumnae from the Master of Fine Arts program in the School of Art and Design open a new exhibition "For Example" this week with a portion of the proceeds from the sale of art benefiting Catholic Charities Harbor House, which helps women break the cycle of family violence. Works will be on view at Heterotopia, 1714 E. Douglas, with an opening reception and sale from 7-10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27. Included in the exhibition are Emily Brookover, Amy Chen, Lauren Clay, Shannon Johnston, Jodi Lightner, Monette Mark and Amber Vanhatala Stene. The works are on view through Friday, March 13.
