* Sigma Psi Zeta Sorority Inc. is having a table event called Break the Silence, which incorporates the Clothesline Project and helps educate, advocate and speak up for those who can't in domestic violence situations. * Every semester, the International Student Union, in collaboration with several other student groups and organizations at WSU, organizes an international food festival called InterFest. During this festival, international students prepare dishes from their native countries. This semester's event is 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, in the Neff Hall courtyard. * University Libraries is hosting a workshop for students, "Multidisciplinary Research Methods and Resources," from 4-5 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, in 217 Ablah Library. * The baseball team will host Oklahoma University at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, at Eck Stadium. WSU students can pick up free baseball tickets on the day of the game with a WSU ID at the Eck Stadium ticket office.
* The American Red Cross Club is hosting the National Cesar E. Chavez Challenge Blood Drive, honoring the Legacy of Cesar E. Chavez as an American civic leader. The blood drive at WSU runs from 10 a.m-4 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, in 142 RSC, and Thursday, April 14, in the Shocker Hall Multi-Purpose Room. Donate and help save a life. * Help the Office of Admissions create a giant, Snapchat-style video produced by the entire student body. The best way to share the Shocker experience with prospective students is to show them. Send a 6-10 second video clip of your life as a WSU student. The top 10 video clips will receive a custom WuShock bobblehead. There's no limit to how many video clips you can submit. Email your submissions to jessica.newman@wichita.edu by Monday, April 18.
* The International Student Union is hosting a cricket tournament from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, April 23, and Sunday, April 24, in Plainview Park. Registration is open to the first 12 teams at a cost of $50 per team. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/isu/cricket to register.
* Perfect for working parents, Camp Wu is an interactive/educational camp open to children ages 5-12. During camp on Friday, April 15, and Monday, April 18, kids will have a chance to rock climb, swim, complete arts-and-crafts projects and have various other adventures while remaining in a safe, fun and supervised environment.
