The Tilford Commission invites WSU faculty and staff to its annual Fellowship Colloquium from noon-2 p.m. Friday, April 22, in 301 RSC. Lunch is provided. RSVP to janis.hudson@wichita.edu by Wednesday, April 13. Tilford Fellowships are awarded each year by the Office of Academic Affairs to faculty and instructors in support of work to develop a new course or modify an existing one to enhance its diversity content. Current Fellows will give presentations on classes in creative empowerment in the helping professions, international management and mental health nursing care, as well as facilitate a discussion of successful strategies for teaching diversity-related issues. We also will have a presentation from WSU's service-learning team. In addition, next year's Tilford Fellows will be announced.
