* The American Red Cross Club is hosting the National Cesar E. Chavez Challenge Blood Drive, honoring the Legacy of Cesar E. Chavez as an American civic leader. The blood drive at WSU runs from 10 a.m-4 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, in 142 RSC, and Thursday, April 14, in the Shocker Hall Multi-Purpose Room. Donate and help save a life. * The baseball team will host Oklahoma University at 6:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, April 12) at Eck Stadium. WSU students can pick up free baseball tickets on the day of the game with a WSU ID at the Eck Stadium ticket office.

* The 2016 Spring Commencement ceremonies will be held Saturday, May 14. The Commencement Office is looking for individuals who are available to work for each of the ceremonies that day. * The Tilford Commission invites WSU faculty and staff to its annual Fellowship Colloquium from noon-2 p.m. Friday, April 22, in 301 RSC. Lunch is provided. RSVP to janis.hudson@wichita.edu by Wednesday, April 13. Tilford Fellowships are awarded each year by the Office of Academic Affairs to faculty and instructors in support of work to develop a new course or modify an existing one to enhance its diversity content. We also will have a presentation from WSU's service-learning team. In addition, next year's Tilford Fellows will be announced.

* WSU's new long-term care provider, ACSIA Partners, will offer a special open enrollment opportunity from now until Saturday, April 30. Genworth Life, the previous provider, will honor all current contracts, but will no longer accept new enrollees. A special on-site seminar is from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, April 15, in the CAC Theater, for all interested employees. * University Support Staff Senate is taking donations for The Treehouse. This nonprofit organization offers mothers and babies a brighter future through sharing basic necessities, education and genuine personal care. Drop-off locations are set up from now to Friday, April 15, at the RSC, Morrison Hall, Ahlberg Hall, Lindquist Hall, Devlin Hall, Garvey International Education and Woodman Alumni Center.
