Documentary 'Salam Neighbor' to be shown Saturday, April 16

Global Faith in Action College, American Red Cross and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion are bringing the documentary "Salam Neighbor" to WSU, at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 16, in 208 Hubbard Hall. "Salam Neighbor" is about two Americans who live among refugees along Syria's border. As the first filmmakers allowed by the United Nations to register and set-up a tent inside a refugee camp, Zach and Chris plunge into the heart of the world's most pressing humanitarian crisis. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?4687 to see the trailer. We are asking for a $5 donation from WSU staff and the general public. Donations will be given to International Rescue Committee in Wichita to benefit the resettlement of refugees. Students with a WSU ID can pick up their free ticket at the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
