* Join the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) at 6 p.m. today (Friday, April 15) in the CAC Theater, for a night of salsa dancing. Admission is free. We will have an instructor teaching us how to salsa dance.

* Student Involvement is looking for students who want to promote the great opportunities provided by the office, share their campus experience with potential new students coming to Wichita State and serve as a resource for all students on campus. * Join the Fairmount Neighborhood Association, Campus Ministry Connect, University United Methodist Church and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion for the Fairmount Spring Service Day from 9 a.m.-noon tomorrow (Saturday, April 16). * It's Kid's Weekend as the WSU softball team hosts Bradley University at noon and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 16, and noon Sunday, April 17, at Wilkins Stadium. All youth 12 and under will receive free admission, and the entire softball team will sign posters after the game. WSU students can pick up free softball tickets on the day of the game with a WSU ID at Wilkins Stadium.

* Global Faith in Action College, American Red Cross and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion are bringing the documentary "Salam Neighbor" to WSU, at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 16, in 208 Hubbard Hall. "Salam Neighbor" is about two Americans who live among refugees along Syria's border. We are asking for a $5 donation from WSU staff and the general public. Donations will be given to International Rescue Committee in Wichita to benefit the resettlement of refugees.

* Based on the popular TV show "Amazing Race," teams of two will race around the WSU campus starting at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 24. Participants must work together to master unique challenges, physical and mental activities and a variety of interactive tasks before racing to the finish line where free food and awesome prizes await the finishers. * Help the Office of Admissions create a giant, Snapchat-style video produced by the entire student body. The best way to share the Shocker experience with prospective students is to show them. Send a 6-10 second video clip of your life as a WSU student. The top 10 video clips will receive a custom WuShock bobblehead. There's no limit to how many video clips you can submit.
