* A retirement reception for Wilma Moore-Black will be held from 2-4 p.m. today (Thursday, April 21) in 102C Elliott Hall. Refreshments will be served. Black has served as associate director of Communication Upward Bound, a U.S. Department of Education program housed in WSU's Elliott School of Communication.

* Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity Inc. welcomes everyone to its second annual Beta Fajita Feed. They will sell fajita platters for $8 from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. today (Thursday, April 21) in front of Jabara Hall.

* Tru Pettigrew will be the featured speaker at the spring 2016 Entrepreneurship Forum Series, at 7 p.m. today (Thursday, April 21) in 107 Devlin Hall.

* The Fiscal Year 2017 budget process begins at the departmental level with the entering of budget information into WSU's budget system (TM1) software. It is important that budget officers and budget review officers for state orgs (nonresearch orgs) attend one of the FY17 training sessions or the open lab session for individual help April 25-29. * The Community Psychology Association (CPsyA) has designated the past two years to research and policy advocacy surrounding sexual assault prevention on WSU's campus. Students, faculty and staff are invited to learn about CPsyA's research and recommendations to prevent future sexual assaults on WSU's campus at a brown bag meeting from noon-1 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, in 266 RSC. * Let's fill Northrock Lanes with black and yellow while supporting your Shocker bowling teams in the national tournament at Northrock Lanes in Wichita. Admission is $5. Team competition starts at 8 a.m. today (Thursday, April 21) and continues Friday, April 22. The final four singles competitors, and the final two men's and final two women's teams will compete in the television finals on Saturday, April 23.
