* The Office of Diversity and Inclusion has announced that Shane Windmeyer, founder and executive director of Campus Pride, the leading national LGBTQ organization for student leaders and campus organizations, as the Gaypril keynote speaker from 1-2:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, in 233 RSC. Faculty, graduate teaching assistants and staff are asked to RSVP for this lecture at http://wichita.edu/swlecture. Lunch will be provided, courtesy of Chick-fil-A. A limited number of spots are available.

* The WSU Green Group is hosting an Earth Day celebration from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Friday, April 22) on the RSC north patio.

* The Tilford Commission will hold its annual Fellowship Colloquium for those who submitted an RSVP, from noon-2 p.m. today (Friday, April 22) in 301 RSC. Lunch is provided. Tilford Fellowships are awarded each year by the Office of Academic Affairs to faculty and instructors in support of work to develop a new course or modify an existing one to enhance its diversity content.

* WSU's Modern and Classical Languages and Literature Department's (MCLL) Japanese program will hold its annual Japan Festival from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. today (Friday, April 22). There will be stage shows and booths set up in the RSC lobby, and rooms 142 and 258. Admission is free.

* Today's (Friday, April 22) Physics Seminar at 2 p.m. in 128 Jabara Hall, will feature professor Gerald Cleaver, Baylor University, presenting "Matter-Antimatter Propulsion via QFT Effects from Parallel E and B." This talk is supported by Ad Astra Kansas Foundation.

* Professor Wayne Pfeiffer, San Diego Supercomputer Center, University of California, will present "Genomics and Big Data," at 3 p.m. today (Friday, April 22) in 372 Jabara Hall. Join us for refreshments prior to the lecture at 2:30 p.m. in 353 Jabara Hall. The talk is part of the Lecture Series in the Mathematical Sciences.

* The baseball team will host Bradley at 6:30 p.m. today (Friday, April 22); 2 p.m. Saturday, April 23; and 1 p.m. Sunday, April 24, at Eck Stadium. For tickets, call 978-(FANS) 3267.
