Reminders, deadlines and events
* Together with the Japanese Culture Association, WSU's Modern and Classical Languages and Literature Department (MCLL) Japanese program will hold its annual Japan Festival from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. today (Friday, April 22). There will be stage shows and booths set up at the RSC lobby and rooms 142 and 258. Admission is free.
* The baseball team will host Bradley at 6:30 p.m. today (Friday, April 22); 2 p.m. Saturday, April 23; and 1 p.m. Sunday, April 24, at Eck Stadium. For tickets, call 978-(FANS) 3267. WSU students can pick up free baseball tickets on the day of the game with a WSU ID at the Eck Stadium ticket office.
* The WSU School of Performing Arts will present the musical "Chicago" at 7:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday, April 22-23, and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 24, in Wilner Auditorium. Admission is free for students with a WSU ID. http://www.wichita.edu/j/?4732
* You and your family are invited to SAC's annual Spring Carnival from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, April 23, on the RSC east courtyard. Admission is free. Certain rides require tickets. Cash or check only. * University Libraries is hosting a workshop for students, "Finding Government Information," from 4-5 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, in 217 Ablah Library. This workshop is in a series of undergraduate research workshops this semester. * You're invited to SAC's Murder Mystery Dinner at 7 p.m. Friday, April 29, in 266 RSC. Preregistration is required by Thursday, April 21, at http://www.wichita.edu/sac. The cost is $10 for WSU students.
* Alternative Spring Break (ASB) will host a donation drive for refugees in Wichita. The items will be donated to the Wichita International Rescue Committee. Items needed are furniture, kitchen items, unused cleaning supplies and toiletries. Items can be dropped off in Wallace Hall, Jabara Hall and Student Involvement (second floor, RSC) and at our ASB table (first floor, RSC) from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, April 26-27.
