The Department of Sport Management is teaming up with the Kansas Children's Service League to promote awareness in the prevention of child abuse. Throughout the month of April there will be information tables at various locations on campus. There will be a showing of the documentary, "Happy Valley," from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, in 265 RSC. The film covers the year following Pennsylvania State University assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky's arrest on child sex abuse charges. A panel discussion will follow the showing, and representatives from local agencies will be available to hand out resources and provide more information. This event is free and open to the public.
